Blake Lively

My current style inspiration, I honestly can't get enough of her outfits.
She's fashionable without looking too overdone, and still feminine without looking skanky.
so much love !

Keepin' it classy

I really want an old fashioned swimsuit, I like the fact that they are cute but don't show too much skin. It leaves more to the imagination!

i need a time machine

I wish I could travel back in time, to no particular era, just so I could experience it for a day or two. I want to see how people lived in the past, their fashion, and listen to the music! It would be so interesting. I love how some clothes from the past are timeless and certain songs and movies will always be a part of American culture.
It makes me wonder if our generation will have an impact on the future generations. Our culture just doesn't seem to have as much of an impact. And 20 years from now I don't think I'll be listening to "Bedrock" on the radio and wearing skinny jeans. I'm curious to see what songs will hold up and was celebrities are still around. But for now I'll just live in the present, and learn as much as I can from the past.

i want clogs

i really really want a pair of clogs.
god i'm the definition of a manrepeller!
(MAN·RE·PELL·ER1[MAHN-REE-PELLER]–noun
outfitting oneself in a sartorially offensive way that will result in repelling members of the opposite sex. Such garments include but are not limited to harem pants, boyfriend jeans, overalls (see:human repelling), shoulder pads, full length jumpsuits, jewelry that resembles violent weaponry and clogs.)
notice what i put in bold. anywho, here are some clogs:

Topshop
Jeffrey Campbell
Swedish Hasbeens

Note to self

Okay people always ask the question "What to you want to be when you grow up?" My answer is, I have no clue. There are so many things I love that I would want to pursue a career in. I'm going to make myself a list of jobs that I think would be fun just so I can look back on it and laugh.
Here it goes... (in no order)
  • Style looks for photoshoots
  • Work at the Free People office in Philadelphia
  • Film editor
  • Be that person who picks the soundtrack for movies (obviously that's not what they're really called)
  • Documentary maker
  • Celebrity Stylist
  • Work at a fashion magazine
  • Intern for a designer
  • Muse (haha i wish)
  • Director
  • A person that makes music videos
  • Gypsy
  • Work for Kelly Cutrone at Peoples Revolution
  • Fashion Designer (how cliche)
  • Stripper
  • Costume Designer
  • Free People filmographer
  • Photographer (particularly for catalogs and lookbooks)
If anyone is actually reading this tell me what you think is best for me :)

The Man Repeller

http://www.manrepeller.com/
read this blog, it talks all about fashion trends that repel men etc etc
i think it's pretty funny, and true.

i want to be there,

right now it's so peaceful!

Coco Before Chanel

That movie changed my life. Well not really but it changed my outlook on Chanel, now I actually realize how groundbreaking she really was. If it wasn't for her I would not be laying in bed in pajamas, I'd be in some ridiculously tight corset frolicking around a meadow.

Just watch the movie, please! (It's on starz on demand)
Well I think I'm going to go change my religious views on facebook to "Coco Chanel" now. Goodbye!
